- Product is in stock and most times ships same
day. Please check shipping cutoff times.
- Product is on order and expected to leave our
warehouse in 3-5 days max. Please call for exact shipping date if order is
needed quickly. We can also sometimes drop ship from a manufacturer
depending on the size of the order.
• About Our Warranties: At DIYSECURITYCAMERAWORLD.COM (DSC Technology) we take pride in offering only the highest quality products. In the rare event that a defect does occur we offer the following warranty: All products are warranted by DSC Technology for at least one year, except for Clearance or Refurbished items which are warranted for 90 days. If a product is defective we will repair or replace it. The customer is responsible for the shipping to send the product to us. We will pay for the shipping cost to return the product back to the customer.
- You may also be covered by the manufacturer warranty, for example our
hard drives have additional warranties by Seagate or Western Digital (or
another provider, should we change. DSC Technology is not responsible for
any lost time, equipment rentals, installation costs, associated with
replacement of equipment.
*How To Void Your Warranty:
- The following situations void the product warranty: Opening the housing of any camera with a fixed lens. Painting, significantly writing on the camera, or otherwise permanently modifying the case of the camera. Cutting the connectors off any equipment. Writing on or placing shipping postage on the product's packaging or user materials. Adding 3rd party software to a DVR without prior approval from our technical support department. Damage caused by the fault of the installer or customer with or without their knowledge (for example dropping or breaking the product, improper voltage, or improper installation). Lightning strikes or surge, physical damage due to dropping or improperly mounting the devices are not covered, or any unconventional or unauthorized use of the product. Operation outside of listed specs or environments. We, obviously, cannot warranty any used cable.
• Restocking Fee: There is a
20% restocking fee for all
non-defective products returned.
• Major Credit Card: Visa, Mast Card, American Express.
• OTHER Payment Methods: All other orders must be paid by PayPal Checkout (We do NOT accept COD's).
• Shipping: Orders received before 3PM EST, Monday through Friday will usually ship the same day. Orders after 4PM (EST) (Monday through Friday) will usually ship the next business day. All orders are shipped F.O.B. PA via UPS, FedEx and USPS.
**Delivery:
- All orders valued over $100 will have an indirect signature required upon delivery.
- Please contact us after placing your order if you have any specific requests regarding your delivery, and we will try to accommodate the request.
• Returns:
We accept returns for any and all reasons during the warranty period. We do ask
that you contact us for an
RMA (Returned Material Authorization) number. This
number must be clearly written on the outside of the box.
When requesting an
RMA number, please be
as detailed as possible and include your name, order number and the reason you
are returning the item. This will allow us to issue you a special tracking
number called an
RMA (or Returned Materials Authorization). Using this number we
will be able to track your request and credit your charge card appropriately.
Once you receive your RMA number, you
will need to write it clearly on the outside of the package before sending it to
us.
Product returned in the first
fifteen days is eligible for a refund. Product sent to us after the 15 days
is eligible for repair or replacement. Customer is responsible for shipping
charges. Items that have damage that is not a result of product failure or
manufactures defect may not be eligible for replacement.
• Sales Tax: All sales shipped to an address in the state Of Pennsylvania will be charged sales tax, unless a resale card has been filled out and submitted to us. Please note that a copy of your resale certificate is not sufficient, we must have the proper form filled out and signed, scanned in and emailed to: sales@diysecuritycameraworld.com
• PO Boxes: We are unable to ship to a PO Box.
